So I don't know whether it's my age or what but I've decided to challenge myself again. I am going to walk 1000, yes that's one thousand miles in 2023. Very roughly speaking it's about 20 miles a week for 50 weeks. Sounds easy but I know it will take a bit of commitment on my part. So seeing as I have been for a half decent walk today I am starting the challenge on Boxing Day, today and it will run until next Christmas 2023. So today I walked with a couple of friends from Earby to Salterforth then along the canal to Foulridge, back along the old road to Kelbrook and return to Earby. Today's mileage was 7.8 miles, so only 992 miles to go, LOL.
